Our culture's emphasis on physical appearance can be all-consuming and exhausting. Join Kate as she guides an exploration of the role of body image and how society’s expectations around physical size and aesthetic can keep us from identifying with the fullness of our being. How can we enlist compassion and gratitude to cultivate a positive relationship with our body, just as it is, and look beyond body image to see our true self worth? Our session will include a talk and guided meditation with Kate, a mindful, gentle yoga practice with Gemma, and some time to share and encourage one another.
